Criteria

1. Applicant must be Hong Kong legal residents and tourists.

Procedure and Fees

1. Any person can apply for a permanent basic membership for free at our website, in order to enjoy basic service.
2. Applicant must provide true, accurate, valid and completed personal information for membership application.

Member’s Right

1. Members can enjoy the services in our centre for venue booking, enrolling groups, interest classes and all kinds of activities with their membership numbers.
2. Members will receive the centre’s newsletters occasionally by email to keep updated about the latest events, courses and services for future communication and programme/service promotion. Members can indicate their preferences about receiving the promotional news and information through email in return at anytime.

Member’s Obligations

1. Members need to show their membership numbers for the registration process of the activities / interest class enrollment.
2. Membership number is not transferrable to any other person.
3. Members are obligated to observe the rules and regulations of our centre and use the facilities with care.

The Hong Kong National Security Law

In the time of obtaining services and using facilities in our centre, member shall ensure the observance of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the laws of the Region in relation to the safeguarding of national security, and shall not engage in any act or activity which are not in compliance with the said legislation.

Membership Termination

Once the membership is effective, member can apply for the withdrawal from the membership at our Information counter. After termination, former member cannot enjoy member’s right under any circumstances.

Personal Information Collection Statement

We do our best to ensure the collection, usage, storage, transfer and disclosure of your personal data according to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. We ensure that our employees comply with the requirements of this Statement and the Privacy Policy. This Statement explains our policies and practices on handling personal data.

Purpose of Collection

We may use the data for one or more of the following purposes:

1. for application of the membership and other services;
2. for the records of membership, services and programmes;
3. for the collection of service feedback and need assessment;
4. to handle comments, enquiries and complaints;
5. for statistics and data analysis;
6. to provide update information of the services and programmes to our members.

Transfer Data

Our centre collects the users’ personal data on a voluntary basis only. Without the users' consensus, we will limit the collection and use of personal data to the purpose directly related to the function or activities stated on the collection. We will not disclose any individual information to other organizations or personals unless release is required by law or is pertinent to judicial or government investigations or proceedings.

The personal data provided by member will be made available to persons working in our centre or persons designated on a need-to-know basis. We do not rent, sell, transfer or disclose your personal information with other people or non-affiliated companies except under the following circumstances: i) any agent, contractor or third party service provider who provides administrative, telecommunications, computer, or any other services to our centre in connection with the operation of its business; ii) the services requested by member is provided by the person or company concerned; iii) with member’s prior consent; iv) we believe that it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person; v) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, enforceable governmental request and administrative requirements.

Access to and Correction of Personal Data

Member should update your personal information with us shall there be any change; otherwise we may not be able to provide the services you request.
